Sister Trio: Radhika Choudhary, Jagriti Choudhary and Deepika Choudhary have finally embarked on their journey of creating a luxury skincare brand “SkinYoga”. The 100% Natural skincare brand is targeted at individuals across the globe to experience purity and luxury in its minutest form; this is well emphasized by their tag line “towards being a purer you”. They launched their first product in 2013, which is a face scrub with excellent anti-ageing natural ingredients, that renews and lifts away expired skin cells. This 3 in 1 exfoliator, cleanser and moisturizer has already become a huge rage among its initial users.

What is more impressive about this company is the elaborated background of its founders. Radhika is a fashion designer from Central Saint Martins College of Arts in London and has worked with the likes of Vivienne Westwood and Burberry. Jagriti brings in her impeccable business education from world-renowned universities of Babson College, London School of Economics and Political Sciences and Harvard University. Deepika a passout from Speos Institute of Photography in Paris and a photographer by profession completes the trio by giving her Victorian taste to SkinYoga’s image.

When asked about their strategy going forward, Jagriti stated “ We will concentrate on getting a stronger grip of the market with our initial products and by the third quarter of 2016 we will introduce our next range of products. The research and development team is already working on that.” She smiled and added, “ If everything goes as per plan, the successor range will be the ipod of skincare industry.”

Radhika, who also looks after the procurement of ingredient for SkinYoga confirms, “Our decision to unravel our product line gradually is also in favor of protecting the environment and forestry. We do not want to extract and exploit the nature all at once, we want to give it time to produce naturally and we want to use only seasonal produce that has not been injected and pressurized with chemicals. It’s all about being pure after all!”

Their e-commerce website is very minimalistic and simple. Deepika aims to give its users a very elegant and to-the-point visuals of SkinYoga. She winds up the interview by saying “ You will never see Mario Testino creating a circus, will you?”

With the launch of Skinyoga and its three confident pillars, we are convinced that a successful and sustainable skincare brand is set to make a mark in the industry.
