The hotel chain Magic Costa Blanca has put into operation the new holiday park of 100,000 square meters 'Magic Robin Hood Sport, Water Park & Medieval Lodge Resort', between the Alicante municipalities of Benidorm and L'Alfàs del Pi, inspired by the legend of Robin Hood, which has 380 cabins, water park, swimming pools, sports courts, spa and medieval shows. The park was made possible by the merger of the old Magic Aqua Excalibur complex with a medieval atmosphere and the attached sports center 'La Marina'. The executive vice president of the hotel group, Javier García, said that they wanted to "design a unique experience of immersion in the legend of the popular character Robin Hood, configuring a resort with a differentiated and state-of-the-art concept".
For its water park, the team collaborated with Arihant Water Park Equipment from India. Arihant’s team took a note of the desired theme and worked the slides in accordance. They choose an array of thrill slides to ensure that each slide departs a feel of Robin Hood era. The water park consists of pendulum slide, body bowl slide, crazy cruise wavy slide and high thrill float and family slides. The water park is a crowd puller and takes the resort theming to another level. Garcia explained that "Magic Robin Hood offers a unique experience for groups and families in an amazing environment with all kinds of facilities," he added
Further the facility has dedicated Robin Hood's character to a "majestic" night show involving more than 20 actors and specialists, a dozen horses trained to give life to games, jousts and tournaments and a technical team putting life to the entire act. The show performed on weekends is designed by Ignacio Brieva and stands out for its special effects of cinema, on a scenic space of 700 square meters that will move from Nottingham Castle to the Sherwood Forest.
