Since 1987, Super Conductor Materials, Inc., SCM, has been a leader in the manufacture of Thin Film and PVD materials.  SCM specializes in producing Sputtering Targets, Evaporation Material, Crucible Inserts, E-beam Gun Replacement Parts, Ion Implantor Source Replacement Parts, and a variety of Backing Plates.  For the last four years, SCM has been diligently manufacturing quality Photovoltaic Targets.  SCM also provides Bonding and Refining services.





For over 25 years, SCM has successfully manufactured Hi-Tech Thin Film materials and components that are used in the production of Semiconductors, Solar Panels, Electronic Instruments, and Optical Instruments.  SCM has a complete CNC machine shop that allows for production of Backing Plates, Vacuum Parts, and various other Vacuum Products.  SCM also provides various on-site services such as Hot Press, Vacuum Hot Press, Rolling, and Vacuum Melting.  In addition, SCM offers reclamation of many other materials.





In 1998, SCM built and moved into a brand new 14,000 square foot, temperature controlled facility.

Today, SCM’s growth has tripled since its’ inception in 1987.
