SAMCO began in the early 1960s as "Specialty Antenna Manufacturing Company" Hence, SAMCO. The first antennas produced were for the first TV station in the DFW metroplex, Channel 8, sold at the local department store. Shortly thereafter a manufacturer of Remote transmitters approached the company about manufacturing yagis for that the Radio Broadcast Industry. The SAMCO yagi has been used by virtually every radio station in the US and many throughout the world.
In the early 90s SAMCO expanded into other industries that require quality yagi antennas including Oil and Gas, Traffic Signal Control, Pipe line monitoring, Water/Waste Water markets, and many others.
We are a family owned business and all manufacturing is conducted in our Ft Worth, Texas USA manufacturing facility. If we don't have what you are looking for we can design to your specifications. Most all of our products are the result of a customer asking if we had a particular yagi. In many instances we did not, so we designed it. This worked out well, because solving one person's problem leads to solving other's problems.
