Elk Valley Bighorn Outfitters has been in operation since 1984. The company was started by Bob Fontana, and in 2016, Sam Medcalf and Ryan Damstrom purchased the business from Anna Fontana. Both Sam and Ryan worked for many years for the company before purchasing it. Today we continue to offer first class hunting opportunities for Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goat, Elk, Shiras Moose, Black Bear, Lynx, and Cougar. We also provide summer horsepack and fishing trips to the beautiful apline lakes that dot our backcountry. We work hard to maintain our reputation as the premier outfit in BC's East Kootenay region, and our success rate speaks to that.
