Initial applications were aimed at providing DC to AC inverters to supply on-board locomotive equipment (on-board refrigerators, pump motors, air conditioning and heating motors and compressors).
Specific knowledge of the railway environment and the founders' expertise have enabled the company to effectively penetrate this market. Drawing upon this know-how, the firm has designed devices that satisfy the requirements and extreme application conditions particular to this market, such as vibration and operating temperatures extremes.
