EnergyCodeAce.com is an online “one-stop shop” designed to help building industry professionals and consumers comply with the requirements of California’s building energy code, Title 24, Part 6, and the Title 20 appliance standards. The site offers free tools, training and resources developed to “decode” these standards for the wide-range of people who need to understand them, including lighting designers, architects, engineers, building department personnel, builders, energy consultants, HVAC professionals, contractors, and building and homeowners, to name a few. The Energy Code Ace program was developed by the California Statewide Codes & Standards Program. It is funded by California utility customers under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission and implemented by Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E®), Southern California Edison Company (SCE), and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas®) in support of the California Energy Commission.
