Apeks Supercritical is a leading CO2 extraction manufacturer, based in Johnstown, OH. Apeks was founded in 2001 as a side business in Andy Joseph's pole barn. The cannabis industry discovered Apeks and the business took off. Apeks now occupies 30,000 sq ft of custom-built factory floor, where they produce high quality CO2 extraction systems. More than 600 systems are installed worldwide!
Apeks has an on site team of engineers who help innovate, build, and develop new systems. At the end of each year, Apeks introduces a new innovation, most recently the 2-stage Force system, which debuted in November 2018. The systems can be added to a platform called The Fleet, which has one large external chiller, with up to three systems attached, which is energy efficient and allows for extraction of different strains at the same time.
Apeks has grown to more than 30 employees, and has a dedicated in-house service team to help troubleshoot problems.
