Formed in 2001, CAWSF's goal is KEEPING SHEEP ON THE MOUNTAINS through conservation, education, and promotion of professional management.
The chapter exists to ensure generations to come are able to experience the phenomenal beauty of wild sheep, especially in California. We seek to accomplish this through conservation, education, and the promotion of professional management of wild sheep in order to augment the number and size of game herds. We are focused on putting more sheep on the mountains through habitat improvement.
