CASTUS QuickCast and multichannel QuickRoll are IP and SDI Video Processing Servers with capture, pass thru, schedule, playout, streaming & archiving of content. All video and image formats can be uploaded and played back with no transcoding and set to Cable Labs compatible MPEG-2TS/AC-3 for HFC plants and/or H.264/ AAC for IPTV plants as well as HLS for OTT distribution and NDI. Graphic overlays, text crawls, and RSS data all over IP & SDI are included. Schedule and playout linear channels, long form channels like infomercials, leased access programming, hyperlocal programming for use by churches, schools, local government, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, etc. The server's pass thru feature is used by cable providers for scheduling black out management, network non-duplication in overlapping markets due to centralization, to replace syndicated exclusive programs, and for sports overflow channels. The new User Rights feature allows broadband providers the ability to upload and/or schedule the content and manage the channels separately.
