Compagnia Del Montale and Sapore Italiano are Italian family business born in 1984 based in the province of Modena. Our story began 3 generations ago, when our family started to produce Balsamic Vinegar in precious wooden barrels by transforming our passion into our business. Our wide range of high-quality products includes: Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI, Balsamic Vinegar pearls, Balsamic Vinegar Jelly, and Saba (slowly cooked grape must).
We offer 2 brands in order to satisfy consumers needs: the traditional Compagnia Del Montale brand and the modern Sapore Italiano brand. For all our products, we use only local grapes without adding additives or caramel. In particular, the quality of our Balsamic Vinegar PGI is guaranteed by a low percentage of wine vinegar and a long refining period (not less than 4 years) in small barrels made of different wood types.
We operates in Europe, USA, and Asia by working with fine food top distributors in Ho.Re.Ca and Retails channels. Our main customers are the Executive Chefs of International top rated restaurants and renown international boutiques have chosen us for their private labels.
