Chocolat Moderne is a sofi™Award-winning luxury artisan chocolate company with over 175 SKUs, including 66 filled bonbons, themed and seasonal packaged assortments, four lines of solid and filled bars, and five varieties of drinking chocolates. Our products are all natural and our MODERNE Chocolate and Toffee Bars are gluten-free. The couverture we use is Valrhona.
This year we celebrate thirteen years in the artisan chocolate industry, yet everything is still hand-made in small batches in our commercial loft on West 20th Street, NYC. The breadth of our flavors represents classics as well as combinations not found elsewhere. Our distinctive style of hand-painted and airbrushed chocolates, in elegant packaging, makes us a preferred choice for seasonal and holiday assortments.

Not only are we a multiple sofi™ Award winner, Founder Joan Coukos Todd was recently named a 2013 Top Ten Chocolatier of North America by Dessert Professional Magazine, for exhibiting distinctive craft which has elevated the chocolate industry.
In 2013 Coukos Todd was also inducted into the NY Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, a worldwide society of professional women who have distinguished themselves in the food, beverage and hospitality industries.
