Sub Plate Cutting Software balances the flow of glass through the cutting process and alleviates bottlenecks common during break out. The patent pending process utilizes BatchBan’s dynamic algorithm to force Y breaks and divide each stock sheet into smaller more manageable sheets to break out, called sub plates. A constant, but manageable flow of glass is transferred to breakout while the remaining sheet is cut into further sub plates. The quality of the breakout is improved, overall plant yield is improved and remakes can be triggered and recut on the same stock sheet.
HP3’s new Plant-Wide Optimization Software collects, manages, schedules and tracks orders from start to finish, managing the process from order entry through shipping a finished product. The customer gets an intuitive resource for managing production flow using HP3’s patented BatchBan logic to optimize the entire process dynamically to increase yield, minimize waste, ship products faster and bring in more money.
