At Casa Maya Salsa, we believe that what you dip your chip into matters, which is why we handcraft our delicious, authentic restaurant-style Mexican salsas with the finest ingredients and love. Casa Maya Salsa is run by husband and wife duo, Danny and Bella Mayans, who are passionate about making the best salsas for chips, tacos, burritos, veggies and so much more.
Casa Maya's origins began in the Lone Star State. Born and raised in Texas, Danny's love of salsa was ignited at an early age and was further stoked by frequent trips to Mexico to visit relatives. Danny loved the fresh ingredients and the versatility of salsa, and he expected the same restaurant-quality salsas to be available at his local grocery stores. The problem - salsas available in grocery stores did not and do not taste like the fresh salsas found in restaurants or like those made an enjoyed by his family in Mexico. Instead of settling for what was available on grocery store shelves, Danny decided to take matters into his own hands. Armed with his secret family recipes and after four years of continually refining the flavors in what would become Casa Maya Salsa's Fire Roasted Red Salsa, Danny crafted an amazing salsa that captured the fresh flavors that he knew and loved. He could find now delicious Mexican salsas - in his own kitchen!
Danny and Bella were eager to share their salsas with family and friends, and the verdict was in: Delicious! As demand for thier delicious salsa grew, soon Danny & Bella discovered that many more people were asking to purchase their salsas. Casa Maya Salsa was born!
Casa Maya Salsa has no preservatives, is gluten-free and is locally handcrafted with love.
Casa Maya Salsa is the winner of two national awards (2015 Martha Stewart American Made Taste Award Food Finalist & 2016 Zest Fest Fiery Foods Challenge 3rd Place – Tomatillo/Salsa Verde) and is part of Pride of New York.
