Our Story:
As children, my Mom had my brothers and I make our teachers’ Christmas gifts. My younger brother roasted savory pecans using my Mom’s recipe and his teachers raved about them. Decades later, I needed something to make for my colleagues at the holidays and wondered if anyone would like my Mom’s and brother’s roasted savory pecans? Well…. They loved them! I taught by day and roasted by night… little did I know how life was about to change.
A year later, with my Dad’s and husband’s support, I started Mert’s Nuts as my Mom (Gabrielle S. Haab- GSH) watched from her hospice bed. She was thrilled and tickled. We are honored to donate a portion of each Mert’s Nuts sale to benefit the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation (CLF) who’ve graciously partnered with Mert’s Nuts to form the CLF-GSH Skincare Institute in honor of Mom.
