Dairy Plant of Karabunar, owned by company ECCO-F S.A., is located in the village of Karabunar, at the foot of the Rhodope Mountains. The dairy is situated on area of 4500 square meters and possesses its own water source, additional power supply, steam station and purifying station. In the production building there are sections for: automated reception, qualification and pasteurization of the milk, packing, workshops for white cheese, yoghurt and fresh milk and refrigerators for storage and maturation of the finished products.



On the average 30 tons of fresh sheep, cow and goat milk are processed in the dairy every day, from which are produced sheep white cheese, cow white cheese, goat white cheese, yoghurt and fresh milk.



The range of dairy products manufactured, combines traditional Bulgarian technology with the consumers’ latest tendencies and tastes. We currently export to several countries in the EU, the USA, Australia, Middle East and Russia. Our factory is EU, FDA and ROSTEST approved under registration number: BG 1312011 EO and FSSC 22000 certified.



We constantly exhibit our products at the biggest food fairs in the world - ANUGA (Germany), SIAL (France), Fancy Food (NY,CA, USA). Sheep white cheese in brine is manufactured from high quality sheep milk obtained from the high-mountain regions. Characteristics of this type of cheese are: white porcelain structure and mild specific taste and flavor.



Goat white cheese in brine is manufactured from high quality goat milk obtained from the high-mountain regions. Characteristics of this type of cheese are: white porcelain structure and mild specific taste and flavor.



Lactose-free Cow white cheese in brine is manufactured from high quality cow milk obtained from the mountain and valley regions. Characteristics of this type of cheese are: white porcelain structure with a slight creamy shade and mild specific taste and flavor.



Especially important is to point out the new company's development for low-salt content in the product, which makes it exceptionally pleasant for direct consumption as well as for supplement to other dishes.
