what is hakuna banana?

We are a banana-based non-dairy frozen dessert. #nicecream! Every pint starts with real, whole bananas, a splash of light coconut milk, and a handful of whole dates. You get the satisfaction of an ice-creamy dessert with wholesome, plant-based ingredients!

HOW IT ALL GOT STARTED

After years of being best friends who work together and cook together, we share a lot of common interests. Chief amongst these is, of course, a passion for good food!

We were searching for a dessert option that we could feel good about. Something wholesome without added sugars. Something delicious and real. 

That's when we came up with our banana-based non-dairy nicecream. Our first recipe was Banilla, a creamy banana base with a hint of real vanilla. We made it on the regular for our friends and family. They loved it not only for its wholesomeness, but also for its creamy, delicious flavor.

We decided to go all in and bring our frozen dessert to the world. Because this is the type of food we all deserve.

OUR INGREDIENTS

Hakuna Banana is always plant-based and made without any refined sugars. We use real fruit to sweeten our tasty pints. We blend bananas, coconuts, and a handful of dates to create a luscious base for our delicious flavors.

WHY BANANAS?

It's nature's creamiest and dreamiest food! They add just enough tropical sweetness and bring a bonus of nutrients like potassium. Every pint is made with at least 2 whole bananas!

WHAT DOES HAKUNA BANANA MEAN?

Hakuna Banana is inspired by the Swahili phrase "hakuna matata," which, roughly translated, means "no worries." We're all about good vibes, no worries, and going bananas for good food.
