The only method of verifying broken
fuse is to manually pull out each fuse or check each circuit one by one to find the
blown fuse. Not only is it time consuming, but also not user friendly. Majority of
the consumers are not capable of doing the check on the circuits themselves.
The design for INTELLIGENT FUSE is based on the idea of identifying blown
fuse in the fuse box assembly immediately by visual inspection. The design calls
for a light emitting device to be integrated with the automotive blade fuse. By
doing so, the product enables consumers to identify blown fuse visually and
replace it without any technician’s help.
