Eflares has been used in New York City Transit & Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority since 2012 as a better Flagging Lantern solution than previous and current lights on the market. NYCT and WMATA started using the original HZ610, HZ510, & HZ520 Eflares for Flagging Light and Signal Light Application. Since then, Eflare has introduced this Transit Specific Light to meet NYCT Specifications. This design has been officially Approved and Authorized by NYCT after years of rigorous Testing and Evaluation.
