The “Gesture Series” is as much indicative of process and thought as it is a series of beautiful objects. Each piece began as a mold, sculpted by hand and power hammer, then uniquely draped in molten pewter, culminating in a palimpsest of each individual pour. The pieces hold an immense amount of embodied energy of the artist- they are a remnant of the process of making, and expression of artistic methodology.
