A former war correspondent at the forefront of sustainable design since 1999, Ana employs the same journalistic process and integrity in researching the origins, mining and cutting protocols and practices of all of her materials and uses vertical transparency guidelines to source all of her materials; 18k recycled gold and palladium, conflict-free and fair trade diamonds, precious stones, and fossils.
Each Ana-Katarina piece is lovingly handmade by the most highly trained craftspeople in her New York City atelier. All aspects of production is overseen by Ana's master jeweler who was educated in Paris and at Harry Winston's. Together, they remain dedicated to achieving and maintaining the highest standards in luxury jewelry and sustainability. Ana-Katarina supports fair trade and strict labor and safety practices for all of her partnerships.
