Canadian Thermostats and Control Devices Ltd. (Cantherm) was founded in 1978 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada as a sister company to Microtherm GmbH located in Pforzheim, Germany. Our company manufactures and distributes a wide variety of thermal control products and sensors. Among our product line you will find bimetal thermostats, control thermostats, disk thermostats, NTC & PTC thermistors and sensors, thermal fuses, thermal cut-outs, inrush current limiters, temperature sensors and limiters, PT & STS sensors, and engineered to order custom products. All our products are certified UL, CSA, VDE, and they are currently RoHS and REACH compliant. Our quality system is accredited to ISO 9001:2015.
Through our affiliation with Microtherm GmbH we have access to manufacturing facilities worldwide and can benefit from their 50 years of experience for Engineering and Design for custom products. We manufacture many parts in Canada and we also have strategic partnerships worldwide in order to offer our customers a wider range of products.
