Mie Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited (MIFS) is a leading logic wafer foundry in Japan. Our 300mm wafer fabs, located in Kuwana City, Mie, offer process technologies from 90nm to 40nm. For these nodes, we offer differentiated technologies such as Extreme Low Power (ELP) and Automotive processes in addition to the industry standard Low Power processes.
In collaboration with CSEM, MIFS developed an ELP design platform based on patented Deeply Depleted Channel (DDC) process technology which aims to realize energy efficient IoT and Sensor end devices with extended battery life and with limited power budget from energy harvesting technologies. The platform consists of a set of fundamental libraries, functional IPs and embedded non-volatile memory. Additionally, the platform also supports RF and millimeter wave requirements.
At Sensors Expo 2019, we will co-exhibit with CSEM and introduce the jointly developed ELP platform.
