Our model HD-1 rotates 360-degrees producing a beam visible for miles. The HD-1 stainless steel fixture weighs only 112lbs versus the thousands of pounds of the older 1940's carbon arc and 1970's Xenon searchlights. Also, no special wiring is required as it draws less electricity than a toaster oven or vacuum cleaner...9.4 amps @ 120-volts. TESTED TO UL STANDARDS
