Davor Biscan was born on June 30, 1974 in Karlovac. Graduated on Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zagreb in 1998. 2000-2004 worked at ABB/ALSTOM on design and development of gas turbines auxiliary systems (2001-2003 worked at company headquarters in Baden, Switzerland). 2004-2009 worked at Enersis Ltd. as senior designer of industrial power plants for MAN TURBO. In 2005 passes professional exam, in 2010 completed post-graduate Study "Sustainable Energy Engineering" on Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zagreb and in 2012 defended PhD at Technical Faculty Rijeka. From 2010 works in family owned company Mikra Ltd where he established new Business Unit Engineering. From 1.6.2017. he is Owner and Managing Director of MIKRA Engineering Ltd providing Energy Consulting, Concept-, Basic-, and Detail engineering. Author of two (2) scientific and five (5) technical papers. Fluent in English and German language. He is married and has two children.
