This class is geared to departments that are already complying with a two-in/two-out policy and are trained in the basic concept of the rapid intervention team (RIT). The program covers RIT advanced search techniques including search goals, pre-search procedures, Mayday procedures, conducting the search, using search ropes, specialized equipment, and thermal imaging for RIT. This class will help RITs reach the next level in search procedures for a down firefighter.
