Exploring the High Line

24 Oct 19
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Tracks: Photo Walk, Street Photography

Speaker(s): Sharron Lee Crocker

The High Line is a 1.45-mile-long elevated linear park, greenway and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad spur on the west side of Manhattan in New York City.

We will enter the park on West 34th Street right outside the Javits Center and walk for approximately 2 hours until 6 pm (sunset). The High Line ends at Gansevoort St. near
the Whitney Museum. We will stop periodically to take advantage of various photo opportunities.

Window reflections, candid photos of people, architecture and art are all photographic possibilities on the High Line. It will be extremely crowded with tourists. Good walking
shoes are recommended. Bring your favorite lens and let’s go!
