WK 1: Hospitality #MeToo: 3 Ways to Build a Culture of Safety and Respect (Room S226)

Active bystander skills help create cultures of respect in bars, restaurants, and other hospitality establishments. Industry professionals can build on their existing hospitality skills and values to create safe and respectful spaces for patrons and staff alike. Starting from the understanding that alcohol does not cause sexual assault, hospitality professionals can learn to prevent, identify, and interrupt sexual and other kinds of harassment in their establishments.
