Session 3A: Avoiding Construction Hiccups (Room B115-116)

Any construction project will have “challenges.” Some are man-made and some are nature-made, and both are guaranteed to occur. How they are dealt with will require collaboration between the owner, the engineer, and the contractor, and there is an interdependency among these to ensure that all parties are working toward a shared goal. The results need to stand the test of time and still meet the intended function. Examples will be provided as a learning tool to avoid repeat hiccups.
