For the fourth consecutive VenueConnect conference, the keynote session for the Universities sector will present “A Conversation With” a leading industry executive. Joining us this year will be Ryan Tressel, the Director of Championships of the NCAA, who will share insights, perspectives and experiences relating to venue management and career success. Among the topics Ryan will discuss are what the NCAA looks for in a venue when selecting sites to host its championships, what that partnership between venues and the NCAA looks like and the importance of these venues to the future success of collegiate championship events. The wide-ranging interview will be moderated by IAVM veteran and Universities Committee chair Bobby Goldwater, President of The Goldwater Group consulting firm and Georgetown University Sports Industry Management master’s program adjunct professor.
