The IAAPA Safety Institute provides an opportunity for attractions owners and operators to learn about the latest developments and best practices in ride safety standards, loss prevention, risk management, ride design, and safety compliance. Learn about the latest EN and ASTM updates, the implementation and benefits of ISO 9001, safe systems of work principles, ride commissioning, guest behavior, and the European Ride Safety Report. The day concludes with a tour of Parc Astérix and a networking reception.

Practical information
IAAPA CERTIFICATION: 4 credit hours
TRANSPORTATION:
- Buses depart from the IAAPA Bus stop at Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles at 8:30 a.m.
- Participants may not drive separately.
- Buses depart Parc Astérix at 6 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Failure to arrive by departure time can result in forfeiture of seat. Available seats from no shows will be resold to individuals in the standby line.
