Whether you have been in the industry for years or you are new to the industry, you probably have heard of Caliente Pizza & Draft House.  Since arriving on the scene at Pizza Expo in 2016, Caliente has  seemingly exploded overnight.  The company has won 3 World Championships and took huge honors  in Parma, Italy, at the World Pizza Championships in 2019 as Best American pizza. 

Founded in 2012 and now with 5 stores closing in on $8 million a year in sales, just how did they do it in 7 short years? The answer is a surprising one: Owner Nick Bogacz has been on this journey over the last 23 years and has been looking to seize on these very moments ever since he delivered his first pizza. 

Nick has built a team of 200 employees, become a member of the distinguished World Pizza Champions Team, taught seminars Pizza Expo, graced the pages of Pizza Today and wrote an Industry Insider Book, “The Pizza Equation.”  This sounds like a pizza dream come true, and to the outside world it is.
