Attendees will learn from a real-world example featuring the Nebraska Public Power District’s (NPPD) experience from an audit on Low-Impact Substation compliance. This presentation will be a case study of lessons learned on the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Low-Impact Substation Standards for Cyber and Physical Security by NPPD. NPPD completed these NERC requirements 16 months early and will share lessons learned on design, installation, and procedures. We will also discuss the transient laptops requirement design and installation. Content will be presented by personnel from the NPPD Telecom and Compliance groups to provide diverse viewpoints.
