Lessons Learned: The Journey to Patient Financial Engagement (Room W307 A-D)

As healthcare consumers face increasing responsibility for medical care costs, two very different health systems have launched innovative programs to help patients successfully engage in the financial process from pre-service to final billing. During this session, each system — one national, the other regional — will share case studies on how it is applying automation, optimized workflows, and dedicated patient teams to improve transparency, create new access points, and communicate more personally with patients as they make important financial decisions.
