4:35 PM - 5:30 PM

Tracks: Dealer Ops & Management – ALL, Marketing & Advertising - ALL, Sales / Variable Ops (ALL)

Join us in the keynote hall for the DD27 Tech Tank competition, presented by Digital Air Strike! During the first of our two Tech Tank competitions at DD27 (Day 2's competition will feature a whole new lineup of contestants), a contestant lineup of auto retail solution providers will introduce you to the latest tools to keep you ahead of the curve.

In a lively, and fast-moving format, each contestant will have just three short minutes to convince the audience why their product is the "most innovative."

Each contestant's presentation will be followed by an intense round of Q&A with a panel of "sharks:" Kevin Frye of Jeff Wyler Automotive Family, Kris Nielsen of Aristocrat Motors, Erica Sietsma of Digital Air Strike, and Danny Zaslavsky of Country Hill Motors Inc.

Once all of the contestants have presented, the attention will be turned over to the audience who will cast their vote for the product they believe to be the most innovative. The votes will display in real-time, and at the conclusion of the voting period, moderator Eliana Raggio (director of industry relations for Digital Air Strike) will announce the winner who will take home the official Tech Tank trophy!

Contestants:

  • Advanta-STAR provides competitive comparison data that benefits our subscribers by detailing features-benefits and advantages of the products they sell vs. their competition. We offer a head-to-head comparison format, along with our newest Advanced Research version, or ‘Super Brochure’, where all of the data we have for a given vehicle is displayed in 19 different categories. Our data is available in multiple formats, including an API, to give our clients options in how they would like to display the information on their websites or in marketing campaigns.

  • DriveCentric offers a fully integrated artificial intelligence that helps dealers increase their level of engagement with internet leads.

  • Driven Media Group's TrafficGauge solution ties a dealership's inbound phone calls from their various service providers to actual sales and service transactions within their DMS. Dealers have been steadily increasing their promotional expense budgets over time, and it has been increasingly difficult to determine which sources and mediums are truly resulting in sales and service transactions. TrafficGauge is the neutral third-party eye that ties back which providers delivered conversions in the form of phone calls which actually translated to car sales, repair orders, and dollars.

  • LINE\5 is an indirect lender that finances F&I products outside of the auto finance deal.

  • RevGenApps.com is a full stack marketing agency specializing in location-based lead generation, SEO, reputation management and social media marketing.

  • SalesLogs revolutionizes dealership processes. Tracking deals from sales through finance, aftermarket or wholesale and finally delivery, the solution delivers increased productivity, visibility, accountability and ultimately top-line results. Fast becoming an industry standard, SalesLogs redefines what it means to work as a team.

  • SureSale Certified helps dealers sell more used cars for more money by extending the range of vehicles they can certify to capture more of the 60% of shoppers who want a CPO vehicle. SureSale Certified is a turnkey tool kit inside that certifies vehicles up to 15 years and 150,000 miles, and equips each vehicle with a clean VIN and free CAReport, 150+ point inspection, 5-Month, 5,000-Mile Limited Warranty, and an exchange guarantee (plus extended protection plans), all supported by SureSale’s local and national advertising. Unlike OEM programs, SureSale Certified does not have appearance reconditioning standards, and does not dictate price, so dealers have more control of their CPO program, all while offering peace of mind and assurance to used vehicle shoppers.
