Offshore wind development and permitting requires the engagement of several state and federal agencies. It presents unique challenges both for developers and these government entities which can make the process of permitting an offshore wind development complicated and onerous. The objective of this panel is to provide the industry with a clearer understanding of the role of some key federal agencies in offshore wind development and to understand how each is evolving to manage the large amount of offshore wind projects in the pipeline.
