This session will provide attendees with an overview of the current state of the cannabis industry in Indian Country, including organizational and internal legal issues; business construct; operational development; regulatory, licensing, and internal control provisions; hemp production and the Farm Bill; and financial statement and inventory auditing activities. We’ll also discuss the external legal and banking challenges that are impacting Tribal governments that engage in cannabis cultivation, testing, manufacturing, and/or retail sales.
