Certified Protection Professional with over 30 years of experience as a security subject matter expert, program manager, trainer, and security software developer in the US, Europe, Asia, and Middle East. Has managed commercial business impact assessment programs, physical security assessment programs, critical infrastructure protection programs, threat analysis programs, security operation centers, security training programs, agency policy reviews and the development of physical security and risk assessment publications and software tools for government and commercial clients. Supported sites have included hospitals, commercial facilities, urban high-rise buildings, military complexes, mass transit centers, airport facilities, bridges, hydropower facilities, locks and dams, data processing centers, sport venues and continuity of operation sites. Mr. Ryan served 22 years as an US Army Military Police Officer, 11 years as a Program Manager and Senior Security Specialist for Raytheon, and is currently an independent security specialist/consultant. Mr. Ryan has a MA, Management, from Webster University, a BS, Criminal Justice, from Rochester Institute of Technology, and is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) of ASIS International, #10275.
