Cheryl Henninger, BHA, RRT, CEAC, is the Director of Operations and Outcomes at Geroulds Healthcare Center/Community Cares Health Solutions, specializing in value- based care in collaboration with other entities to improve the health outcomes within the communities served. A clinician and administrator with more than 30 years' experience in the health care industry, Cheryl's expertise is in new business development and collaborations to develop holistic, evidence-based programs and cost-effective initiatives that promote patient engagement and self-management for better health outcomes. Cheryl has spent the last several years working to develop new chronic care initiatives aimed at the reduction of hospital readmissions and excessive acute care expenditures along with improved health outcomes. Cheryl has a passion for positive health outcomes and leads organizations in developing holistic, value-based care workflows and initiatives to prepare them for participation in collaborative network arrangements to improve the continuum of care and achieve quadruple aim. Cheryl's most recent successes include the development of several holistic chronic disease networks, a patient engagement app with telehealth integration, and the development of value-add service lines that support holistic, diverse and inclusive care within the client's home. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, running, biking, and travelling.
