David Gurr specializes in branding within the coffee industry by creating lasting and impactful design for cafes and roasters. He has co-led lectures at both SCA and Coffee Fest on branding and social media strategy in order to share his knowledge and process with the industry. He has traveled to highly-acclaimed cafes all over the United States in order to document and showcase the best design in the industry. David currently manages a coffee-focused branding & marketing firm dedicated to seeing cafe & roaster growth. The Coffee Standard has over 20+ coffee industry clients and counting with multiple awards for their work specifically within the coffee industry. David is also an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University where he teaches typography within the graphic design program.
