Kristen Wheaton is Vice President of Venue Experience at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, which Entertainment Weekly calls the “Best Theater in America.”

Kristen is responsible for the guest experience that makes Alamo Drafthouse so special, including food and drink menus themed to the films, celebrity appearances and other special events, and iconic events such as Fantastic Fest, the largest genre film festival in the U.S.

With over 25 years’ experience in the fine dining, music, and theater exhibition industries, Kristen is an expert in delivering bespoke experiences to VIP clientele such as Justin Timberlake, Pink, and Snoop Dogg. She is a specialist in growing private event sales and creating new revenue streams.

Kristen has a passion for growing teams and mentoring team members. She has a unique ability to turn around struggling teams by aligning values and building trust through servant leadership. Her teams are widely regarded as the happiest and highest performing among their peers.
