David Ax is the Director of Event Services for the Memphis Grizzlies and FedExForum, an 18,000-seat arena in Memphis, Tennessee, that hosts NBA games, University of Memphis Men’s Basketball, concerts, and a wide range of live events. With over a decade of experience in the event industry, David leads the Event Services team and oversees arena financials and contracting, managing an annual operating budget of $25 million. A proud member of the IAVM 30 Under 30 Class of 2020, David also holds the Certified Venue Professional (CVP) designation, reflecting his commitment to excellence in venue management. His leadership has been instrumental in delivering seamless, high-impact events that enhance the guest experience and drive operational success.
