Gina Lawson is a Manager in the Geoscience Technology group at Chesapeake Energy. Gina joined the oil and gas industry out of college in 2001 where she studied Finance and Commercial Bank Management at Oklahoma State University and then furthered her education in 2003, receiving a Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern State University. Over the course of her career, Gina developed extensive upstream oil and gas transaction skills negotiating and consummating hundreds of transactions, including several joint ventures, totally over $7 Billion as an experienced A&D/Business Development professional. Over the past year focused on leveraging technology to implement a new approach to prospecting and portfolio management, helping to give Chesapeake Energy a sustainable, more competitive edge.
