Gary Westlund is a business consultant with Awning Tracker. Gary has actively worked in the awning industry for over 25 years. He began his career as the manager of a traditional canvas awning company. Gary eventually purchased the company, and grew it from only 7 employees, up to 37 employees. During that time, he survived recessions and dramatic shifts in the industry. His experiences along the way as both an owner and manager, of a growing and successful awning company, have provided many valuable lessons. Gary sold his company and retired in 2018. He now works part-time as a business consultant at Awning Tracker, where he mentors others in the industry.
