Stephen Cunningham trained in theatrical production at the Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto but has spent most of his career working in administration. After a short stay in ticket services at the Canadian Opera Company, Stephen joined the National Ballet of Canada in 1996, starting in ticket services. Not long after joining the Ballet, he moved to the communications department where he was responsible for the launch of the company's first professional website as well as data analysis. In 2019, Stephen moved to the IT department as Senior Manager, Web Technology Services and currently has overall responsibility for the National Ballet's various websites, e-commerce integrations and other interactive applications such as electronic communications.
