Arvind Ethan David is a producer and writer of films, television, comics, and theatre. In theatre, David is a lead producer on the Jagged Little Pill musical, based on the renowned album by Alanis Morissette that opened on Broadway December 5, 2019. Additionally, he is the producer of legendary British comedian David Baddiel and Erran Baron Cohen’s The Infidel – The Musical, based on their hit film of the same name, for which he also wrote additional lyrics. In television, David was most recently Executive Producer of the acclaimed BBC America/Netflix series Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, starring Elijah Wood. The show quickly became a cult favorite over its two seasons. David has produced eight feature films, including the British hit comedy The Infidel, and The Garden Of Evening Mists, for HBO Asia which received 9 nominations and received one Golden Horse Award, due to open theatrical across Asia in early 2020. David is also a comic book writer, whose credits include the Stoker Award-Nominated Darkness Visible, which he is adapting for television for Intrepid Pictures (Haunting of Hill House) and IDW Entertainment and currently working on an original graphic novel for Ted Adams’ Clover Press. Due to open in 2020, David is also producing an immersive theatrical escape room experience called The Ladder in partnership with internationally acclaimed Hatch Escapes, based in LA. David currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, with his wife Janine N'jie David and their daughter Odetta.
