Dr. Yuanchang Xie is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in December 2007. His research focuses on traffic control and simulation, traffic safety, intelligent transportation systems, and transportation data analytics. Dr. Xie serves on the editorial boards of Transportation Research Part C and Accident Analysis & Prevention.
