Daniela Bremmer is WSDOT’s Cooperative Automated Transportation (CAT) Development Manager. She is an experienced tactical and strategic thinker who has bridged traditional silos, disciplines and modes to create non-traditional, innovative and successful programs. Her diverse knowledge of transportation systems, modes and agency programs, coupled with her multi-disciplinary background and national leadership roles helps her to operationalize WSDOT’s vision for CAT while negotiating the realities of public sector policies and budgets. Daniela aims to help enable a future where automated, connected, electrified, and shared mobility contributes toward a safer, more equitable and more efficient transportation system in Washington State and nationally. Prior to her current role, Daniela developed and led another, high-profile program, WSDOT’s nationally acclaimed Performance Management and Multimodal Systems Analysis Program. Daniela has a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Computer Science and Business and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. During her free time, she enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.
