Greta drives the strategy, alliances, solution and technology advocacy, and go-to-market efforts for Verizon Smart Communities transportation offerings, which provide modern approaches to cities’ traffic challenges including intersection safety, traffic analysis and traffic management. With nearly 20 years of experience in the IT industry—the last five of which have focused on smart cities in North America and Asia—Greta enjoys being at the intersection of innovation, transportation and sustainability at a time when the rise of technology in transportation is rapidly transforming urban mobility. Greta is also a board member and planning chair for ITS-WA, member of the Smart City & Community Innovations Committee on the Seattle Community Technology Advisory Board (CTAB), and is a member of the NIST Global Cities Team Challenge (GCTC) Transportation SuperCluster leadership team and council.
