Xiaosi Zeng received his Ph.D. degrees in transportation engineering from the Texas A&M University in 2014. His research interests include connected vehicle applications, adaptive transit signal priority, travel time predictions, operations research, and self-driving technologies. He is currently a software engineer at the Uber Advanced Technology Group, where he is working on the self-driving technologies for urban transportation. From 2015-2017, he primarily focused on developing simulation toolings, pipelines and testing requirements for validations and verifications of the self-driving behaviors and safety. From 2017 to present, he is working on autonomy software and artificial intelligence models for predicting actor intents, motions and interactions with the self-driving vehicles.
